Murray, NEB-The Jr./Sr. high and the elementary school gathered at the high school football field Friday the 12th for our community pep rally. The dance and cheer team hosted a camp for elementary students prior to the pep rally and then performed their routines at the pep rally later that day. Everyone enjoyed playing “Spirit and Sports,” a spinoff on “Ships and Sailors” and recognizing fall activities.

The bonfire followed the community pep rally this past Sunday. The dance and cheer teams collaborated to perform the school fight song, and the seniors on the football team fired everyone up for Friday night’s homecoming game against Weeping Water. At the end of the night, I had the privilege of throwing one of two dummies into the flames. You could tell everyone who came had a great time by the spirit and excitement displayed. It was the perfect kick off to homecoming.
