MURRAY, Neb – On Wednesday, Dec. 7, senior Haven Z officially signed to be part of the track and field team for the University of Nebraska Kearney.

Haven has been doing high jump since 7th grade and now she will be competing as a division 2 athlete for the UNK Lopers. When asked what her favorite thing about track was, Haven replied with, “I like how it is an individual sport but the team is still like a family”.

Haven is excited to be a part of a team and help her new school to be successful. She already met her new coach and thinks that he can help her improve a lot and that she can become really good with him coaching her.
