Over the past 10 years the Bears have drafted three quarterbacks in the first round and fired the head coach after their first season with that quarterback. Also in the past 10 years the Bears have had a total of 17 quarterbacks that have started in a game and a total of five different head coaches in the past ten years, which may give a coach two years with the team before being fired.
After another ten years of horrendous football performed by the Bears, a total record of 63-101 and having only one winning season. They drafted also a total of three first round quarterbacks in the first round in the past seven years and those first round selections include the first overall pick, the second and 11th overall pick which includes there last year selection of Caleb Williams that went first overall and after his first year with the bears have decided to fire another coach in season which was the first time in 105 years of the Chicago Bears organization. Now after a huge coaching search the bears turn to the offensive coordinator of the lions Ben Johnson to lead the team in the upcoming season.
Ben Johnson has accomplished a total of two playoff wins as the lions offensive coordinator also under Johnson the lions have placed in the top four offenses all three times he coached for the lions. But the Bears went out of the way to get this head coach that their star quarterback wanted Caleb Willams. The Bears decided to give Johnoson 13 million per year that will make him the seventh highest paid coach in the NFL now. But people are asking if it is worth the money. Will the bears keep the trend going and fire him after his second season or will he turn it around and be the next George Halas from the bears and lead them to a championship game only time will tell.
