Movie Theaters in Nebraska are Opening up Left and Right with New Conditions

Movie theaters all around Nebraska are reopening! One at a time, movie theaters are opening up all around Nebraska. Even though they are opening, theaters are still under the health guidelines of the CDC, so make sure to pay attention to the guidelines of the movie theater you are heading to before you decide to go. You can find all the guidelines on the CDC.gov website.

Patrons are only allowed to take off their masks in the viewing room when eating or drinking. Also, the theaters are attempting to limit customer/employee interactions. According to marcustheaters.com, ordering tickets online as well as concessions will help with that, and this is their recommended advice. Concessions and ticket booths are still open, but theaters have installed plexiglass barriers to help prevent any potential spread of the coronavirus.

Drive-in theaters are a different story. When you drive onto the grounds of your chosen drive-in theater, you must hand them the ticket at a booth/window with plexiglass. Also, when parking, there must be one parking spot in between cars. If you’re in a group of cars, you can all park right next to each other. Most drive-in theaters will have an online ordering page, and your concessions will be brought to you, or you will go grab them from the stand.

With so much going on in the world right now, taking a break from reality is more important than ever. Find some free time away from all of your work and school, grab some friends, and go see a movie!
