The fall season is approaching and soon all you will see is the beautiful change of leaves and cooling temperatures. But, that’s not all, there are also many activities, treats, songs and movies everyone can enjoy.
Fall marks the transition from summer to winter. It is famous for its harvest times, turning leaves, cooling temperatures, darkening nights, and delicious treats. Embracing fall foods
allows you to savor the rich flavors of the season and is sure to have you feeling extra cozy wherever you are.
“My favorite fall foods, I would probably go with a good apple or cherry pie and my favorite fall activity I have to go with a little pumpkin carving action around Halloween,” said Grant T.
Fall doesn’t only bring amazing food it also brings a variety of activities you can do with friends and family. These simple but entertaining activities are what brings families and friends closer, letting you have fun in everything you do. Pumpkin patches are one of the most popular fall activities, having areas for kids to enjoy but also parents too.
“My favorite fall activities are to go to Vala’s Pumpkin Patch. I like to walk around with my friends and look at all the mazes in Vala’s. I like to watch College Football, especially the Nebraska Cornhuskers,” said Gage K.
One thing that makes fall what it is, is its songs and movies. Songs and movies highlight the best parts of fall. Everyone enjoys a little scare as well as calming and relaxing fall music. There are many fall movies but The Nightmare Before Christmas, Goosebumps, and Hocus Pocus are the most popular. Fall songs showcase the smells, textures, and temperatures of fall, allowing you to visualize the fall season. Both songs and movies bring a different aspect of fall but together they give you the true meaning of the season.
“My favorite fall song is anything by Fleetwood Mac but I really like California Dreamin’ by The Mamas and The Papas. My favorite fall movies are the Halloween Town movies, they are always fun to watch,” said Alyssa B.
“In my opinion, I think fall is the best season. I love the scents of fall, color changing leaves, and when the temperature cools down. I’m looking forward to Halloween with all the scary movies, haunted houses, and all of the candy,”said Grace R.
