Teachers have had a ton of fun activities these past couple of weeks including dress up days for students and teachers and fun games for the teachers like Rock, Paper, Scissors, Mistletoe Match, Elf on the Loose.

There have been several games to help bring in the Christmas spirit and help give joy to the teachers through this stressful time. All thanks should go to Conant who first got the idea from her daughter. Also anyone that wants to play can play and some teachers have already taken advantage of these games and have won prizes. There have been several teachers that have won including: Mr. Wilfong, Mr. Steckler, and Mr. Vecchio who were the winners for the paper rock scissors. Also, Mrs. Iverson had the secret necklace at the end of the day, so she won as well. Mrs. Todd, Nurse Tracy, Mrs. Dworak, and even Mr. Geise have been some of the game winners. Conant gives out amazing prizes including jeans days, coffee gift cards, early out passes, free period coverage, or a gift off the tree for the teachers.

There will be more games happening next week, says Conant. “Because next week is finals week, I want the games to be a bit low key, so we have a cookie match game and one where they have to guess how many ornaments are in the container. On Friday of next week, the game will be Christmas Song Bingo and I’m thinking of getting students involved with this game.” Conant has been giving out 2-6 gifts per week so make sure to thank Conant for bringing joy to all the teachers.
