Students dance the night away.

Murray, NEB- Saturday, Sept.17, Conestoga held their annual homecoming dance. In the days leading up to homecoming Conestoga hosted their yearly spirit week where students dress up in a new theme every day of the week leading up to the homecoming football game on Friday.

“I really enjoyed seeing everyone having a great time at the homecoming dance! Every student looked like a million bucks! I think it was a great evening for everyone who participated!” Mark Skiles, a teacher at Conestoga exclaimed.

Homecoming was held in the commons which is normally really cold but was unusually hot that evening. “It was super hot and we had run out of drinks which made it worse,” Caydan B., a freshman attending homecoming for the first time, said.

The weeks leading up to homecoming were busy and buzzing with excitement whether you were a freshman going to homecoming for the first time or a senior going to homecoming for the last time.
“I thought it was super fun and I really enjoyed it.” Freshman Jozlyn K. a freshman stated.
