MURRAY, NEB- Conestoga had their academic honors night on Monday, May 8 starting at 6pm. These awards were for students who met all the expectations to earn these awards. Mr. Geise gave the welcoming speech and gave the Academic All-Conference Senior Class Awards.

The first department was science, taught by Mr. Skiles and Mr. Shemeckpeper, and they both gave out awards for going above and beyond the line. The English department, Math department, Exploratory department, and Social Studies departments also gave out awards for academic achievement and some individual improvement and achievement awards. The NHS Senior Recognition was given by Mrs. Spangler and the Academic All state was given by Mr. Wills. The Academic Letter, OWH All Academic Award and Senior Scholarships were given by Mrs. Kreifiels. Lastly, the Cougar Culture Changer was given by Mrs. Schlichtemeier.

We just want to appreciate the teachers for taking their time and giving their attention to our students because this shows us they really focus on us and they see what we accomplish. And also congratulations to those who received those awards last night. These students show efforts and dedication to receive all kinds of awards and the staff recognize them. So congratulations and keep going, give it your all.
