Murray, NEB- Conestoga has seen their fair share of amazing teachers in the high school, but none compare to the agriculture teacher Mrs. Kaitlin Kennebeck. First let’s start with some of the things she teaches. floralculture, plant science, and sponsors FFA. Fun fact about her, her favorite classes to teach are floralculture and plant science. Not only does she sponsor FFA she also competed in high school in parliamentary procedure, cooperative speaking, and nursery landscape at state! She also competed on her high school golf team qualifying for state her junior and senior year. Not only was she talented in sports she is also talented in the art department she loves doing art projects and in high school she had her art displayed at UNL.
Fun facts about her, her favorite dessert is ice cream, she loves traveling to national parks across the country and this last summer she went to a glacier! Kennebeck also has a big flower and veggie garden at her house and her spirit animal is a penguin.
She says the best thing about being a teacher would be, “getting to see students learn and grow throughout the school year”. Her favorite memory from school is, “attending the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis with 12 FFA members”.
At the end of the day her class will always be filled with memories and laughter. Thank you Kaitlin Kennebeck for being an amazing teacher at Conestoga!
