FBLA Holloween dodgeball will be on Oct. 28 for the March of Dimes fund, a nonprofit organization that works to help the health of mothers and their children. The champions of the junior high bracket and the high school bracket will face off against the teachers. During the Pep Rally on Oct. 30.
The dodgeball tournament will take place on Oct. 28 on a Monday at 12:30, a total of 5 players can play per team and costumes are encouraged .There is no limit to the number of teams that can sign up. The cost is five dollars per player, which is all donated to a good cause. Teams wanting to sign up should see Mr. Brokaw. Teams will be finalized on Friday, Oct. 25. At the end of the tournament, the winners will receive a prize, a goodie bag. As well as have the opportunity to compete against the teachers in front of the entire school.
Last year FBLA was able to donate 150 dollars to the March of Dimes and they are hoping to make even more this year.
The March of Dimes believes in a world where every mom and baby is healthy regardless of wealth, race, gender or geography.Through research, programs and advocacy, their supporters enable them to be there for parents throughout their pregnancies.
Anyone can participate in this dodgeball tournament. If there are enough teams, there will be separate brackets for junior high and high school teams.
