The Baseball season is upon us as the preseason is wrapping up. It is time to prepare and look at the baseball outlook for the 2025 season. As Spring training is wrapping up here is the record of the teams with the best record in each group. For the Cactus League the top 4 teams are San Francisco Giants with a record of 21-6, Kansas City Royals 20-12, Dodgers 14-9, and the Cubs 12-9. Also in the Grapefruit League, the top 4 are the Toronto Blue Jays 18-10, Astros 16-12, Red Socks 15-12, and the Phillies 15-13.

Just because a team does well in spring training does not mean a whole lot because the teams have not set a whole starting lineup. In spring training they are trying people out in different places, take the Yankees for example, they were in the middle of the pack during preseason but ended the season with the best record in the whole MLB that season.

Now that we know how teams are lining up in the preseason let’s talk about predictions. Let’s start with the Dodgers. They are one of the highest-picked teams coming into the season. They are also the team that won the world series last year. The second highest team picked coming out of postseason is the Atlanta Braves the reason they are the second highest team picked is because last season they ended the season with a record of 89-73 with tons of injuries and their star player Ronald Acuña Jr who was ruled out for the rest of the season in 2024 because of an ACL injury.
