Ed and Lorraine Warren take on a case of a man who was convicted of first degree murder. He was found by cops walking in the road, covered in blood, after killing his landlord. His entire case relied on his claim of demonic possession. He claimed he was possessed by some sort of demon which is what led him to commit such a terrible act. This was the first case represented in a court in which demonic possession was used as a defense. The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It is based on the real life case of Arne Cheyenne Johnson.
