Basketball Doesn’t Build Character, It Reveals It
Conestoga vs. Louisville
Murray, NEB- Thursday Dec., 2nd was the boys basketball team’s first home game of the season where they competed against Louisville in the Conestoga High School gym. The boys worked diligently and were ready to go against their rivalry team. “In order to win tonight we have to be ready to go, gotta be loose, be the first to attack and keep energy up the whole game,” Jack W., a junior at Conestoga stated. “Defense, you know what I’m saying, gotta get rebounds, get to the rim.” said Noah S.
Conestoga played hard scoring themselves a total of 49 points by the end of the night. “We showed a lot of improvement but we didn’t do as well as we wanted to,” Coach Hegge, the boys basketball coach at Conestoga, stated after the game. All in all the boys put their best foot forward and kept energy and positive attitudes up the whole game. The final score of the night was Louisville 52 and Conestoga 49. Great job to both teams.
