Students visit at the booths for the various activities offered at Conestoga

Murray, NEB.-Conestoga hosted its Activity Fair today, offering a variety of sports and activities to students. As this school year is coming to an end, preparation and recruiting for next year has already begun. Upperclassmen put up booths for the activities and helped organize to give the other students a good experience. As this year’s seniors are leaving, there are new openings in all the sports and activities, making this the perfect opportunity for underclassmen to step up and take part.

Even though Conestoga is a smaller school, it offers a variety of activities and sports. There are sports such as basketball, football, soccer, volleyball, wrestling, as well as dance and cheerleading. Furthermore, Conestoga offers activities such as one act, mock trial, FFA, FBLA, and speech, to name a few. Being involved in a sport or activity is both fun and looks good on college applications and resumes. It shows that you have a strong sense of commitment and that you are willing to work hard to achieve your goals. Additionally, being involved in the school creates a more close-knit community and improves the school spirit. It is still not too late to join an activity or sport, so do it!
