Murray, NEB- As the temperature begins to drop and the leaves begin to change, Halloween is just around the corner. Many households begin to stock up on candy, and trick-or-treaters prepare their outfits for this Halloween. One Halloween tradition has withstood since the early 1900’s. Halloween candy is what many trick-or-treaters look forward to every Halloween.

There is a lot of variety when it comes to Halloween candy, many people have their candy likes and dislikes. But have you ever wondered what the top 10 best Halloween candies are? According to Pure Wow the top 10 candies is as follows:

Candy is one of the staples of Halloween, but early Halloween handout traditions consisted of houses handing out a variety of fruit, cakes, coins, and toys. The candy industry skyrocketed, making candy more affordable. Halloween candy wasn’t accepted as a society until around the 1970’s One factor that made treat-or-treaters veer away from candy was the safety and if they should trust it.
