Super Mario Odyssey is one of the best selling games on the Nintendo Switch. Bowser had a different plan this time around, why kidnap Peach when you can just marry her against her will? Bowser had the master plan to form a wedding to marry Peach. Mario being his heroic self as usual, has to stop Bowser from achieving his plan, when Mario lost the first battle by getting hit by Bowser’s hat, he got launched all the way to the Cap Kingdom. There, Mario would meet his companion, Cappy. Cappy is a hat from the Cap Kingdom who has a sister named Tiara, who is literally a Tiara. Tiara was captured by Bowser and placed on Peach’s head.
As Mario and Cappy progress, Mario would discover he can capture enemies or animals. Not long after, Mario would confront the Broodals, The Broodals, a group of rabbits who work for Bowser to stop Mario from ruining Bowser’s day. Once Mario gets past The Broodals, Mario moves on to the Cascade Kingdom, a jungle with a waterfall. As Mario progressed, he found a ship called the Odyssey that was needing sources of energy called Power Moons. Power Moons are things that Mario finds, and Mario needs a handful of them to progress through each kingdom to track down Bowser. Power Moons are stored in the Odyssey to travel to more distant locations.
When Mario travels to the Sand Kingdom, the desert is very cold during the daytime. When Mario reached the temple which caused the extreme drop in temperature, Bowser stole a very big engagement ring for his wedding. The thing Bowser is doing in the game as the game progresses,he obtains certain items like, an engagement ring, a bouquet of flowers, a wedding dress for Peach, high end water, a stew, a cake, and traveling all the way to the moon for this one wedding, talk about extreme.
Talking about enemies in this game, he hires a UFO looking enemy to get flowers, a mechawiggler that absorbs electricity, an octopus with lava on its head, a huge dragon with crazy electricity power, and of course The Broodals and Madame Broode.
One of the cool things you can do in this game is go into an 8-bit area, where Mario goes 8 bit on a wall. One of the most notable areas in the game is Metro Kingdom, a city-like area to explore. The city is named New Donk City, and no one better than Pauline was the mayor of the city, Pauline was Mario's girlfriend in the 80s, most notable in the arcade game, Donkey Kong.
Once Bowser is defeated and ruins his wedding, you can visit the Mushroom Kingdom and relax. Once you beat the game you can just collect moons, and speaking of moons, there are 800+ moons to collect in this game.
