The main goal in this game is to wrack up damage to knock your opponent off the stage.
Super Smash Bros ruleset is usually in a best of three or a best of five format, you have seven minutes in a game, with three stocks or lives (your choice of pronouncement), and have five to eight stages to choose to play on.
This game has over 80 characters in the game, over 100 stages to choose from, and over 1000 soundtracks to play on during a battle. Almost every character in the game has a very creative moveset that resembles their own games. and a few characters who don’t really do a lot of stuff in their own game just have an original moveset. like a character named captain falcon for example, he comes from a racing game so you don’t see him fight at all in his own game, so they gave him an original moveset.

He goes up against other main Nintendo icons until he reaches Bowser. Training mode is an area for you to practice. Home run contest, no it's not exactly a baseball mode, it’s a mode where your goal is to deal as much damage to the sandbag as possible and whack it by a bat, you are trying to send it the farthest. Squad strike is basically a tag team version of the competitive ruleset. You put your characters in order and when one of your characters gets knocked out, you go use the next character you put in order.
