People may think Drivers Ed is such a waste of time because that's what I thought when my mom first told me that she signed me up. In the end it was totally worth it. The classroom portion may be really boring but it's only 4-5 days long and a couple hours. The rest of Drivers Ed, you get to drive, you get 4-5 days driving and then one to do your test. So the whole process is about 2 weeks long. In my opinion it was better than having to drive for 50 hours or so. Also something I liked about it was I didn't have to drive with a random instructor. I had the same instructor that whole week so that helped me and we drove the same car so I had the whole week to figure out the car like if the brakes were touchy or something.
Everytime I talk to someone that is about to start driving and has to do the test I suggest they do Driver's Ed because I think I did better driving. When I do tell people to do Driver’s Ed they react the same way as what I did, but I tell everyone it is worth it. I encourage everyone that is going to start to drive and get their license. They are drivers and it will be easier.
“I liked how there was one-on-one teaching, and how they went into better explanations on driving, especially if you have no experience. I’m glad that I did driver's ed. I feel like it better prepared me for my driving test. I also enjoyed how I got better insurance on my vehicle since I took the drivers ed. Even though it was a long time in a classroom I am happy that I got it over with,” said Morgan S.
