I believe that Christmas celebrations should start the day after Halloween Oct. 31. Once you get done with walking around all night, tell me why, the next day, you don’t want to snuggle up with a peppermint hot chocolate and watch Christmas movies.
If you start soon, you have more time with your Elf on the Shelf. You could also go to different Christmas places such as ice skating rinks, theme parks that start decorating, or festive markets. You could start baking cookies to make sure you have enough to get through tons of families coming over and visiting Mainly, who does not love getting matching pjs, fluffy socks, and cute Christmas sweaters before it gets too cold out.
Christmas is just “a wonderful time of the year,” says Edward Pola and George Wyle in a popular Christmas song called ‘It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year.’ Lastly, Thanksgiving is practically fall and food. We have been celebrating fall before Halloween and why should we celebrate it more. It should be Fall, Halloween, Christmas, a Thanksgiving break, then Christmas again.
I think that Christmas needs to be celebrated on Nov. 28. Give Thanksgiving its time. Thanksgiving is fall and food. Two of the best things in the world. Thanksgiving is about Pilgrims and Native Americans. It is a time to celebrate a successful harvest in the New World. Everyone needs to show that they are thankful for longer than a school break or even a day. Listing stuff you are grateful for is good for your mental health, boosting relationships, and it prompts a more positive outlook on life.
