MURRAY, NE- On Oct. 4, Conestoga FFA went to the East Central District Land Judging right outside of Branched Oak, NE. They evaluated land used as cropland or rangeland. Conestoga had 13 out of 225 total students participate. Conestoga ended up taking eighth out of sixteen schools participating. Four of Conestogas students made the top 50 out of 225 students. Bridget M. placed at 48, Cydney V, placed at 47, Tanner A, placed 28, and Sophomore, Logan P, placed as high as 18. Other participants from Conestoga were Kaylee H, Alyssa G, Bre S, Chase C, Casen C, Robbi Z, Mason S, Ella T, and Louie C.

A few students were asked what they thought of what they did on Wednesday. Kaylee H, a freshman, said, “I think we did pretty good.We just had to go to different holes and find out the slope, permeability, and texture of the soil.” Another member of Conestoga FFA, junior, Bre S, said “It was fun and I learned a lot of new things.” Congratulations to the Conestoga FFA!
