Murray, NEB- Cougar Mania had their first meeting Aug. 22, for students that were interested. Cougar Mania members decide on home game themes for the upcoming season’s events.

Tracy Anderson is the group advisor, and gives her opinion on who should join and what Cougar Mania is all about. “I think that every student that is in the 7th-12th grade or anyone should join. Cougar Mania is all about increasing school spirit and creating support and encouragement among our student body with goals to be the best student section around.”

You can still sign up for Cougar Mania today, and even get an official Cougar Mania ‘themes of the games’ on your locker! You can even dress up as the school’s mascot and go to home games to help cheer on with the crowd

Alyssa Gernstein, a Cougar Mania member, gives her opinion on Cougar Mania, “I think it’s good for students to be a part of, you get to be involved with the school and get to see behind the scenes. The group of students in Cougar Mania are very supportive and always give creative, helpful ideas.”
