Murray, NEB- It’s that time of the year again. The air is getting crisp and Halloween is approaching. Everyone is looking for the perfect haunted house to visit. I have done my research to compile a list of the best haunted houses in our area. The criteria for the “perfect haunted house” is the scare, price, and location.

The Shadow’s Edge is a good option that is located in Omaha. The reviews are great with a 4.5 star rating and tickets prices are cheap. They sell for $16 Thursday through Sunday and $8 Monday through Tuesday. The whole attraction takes about 45 minutes to get through.

Scary Acres is also in Omaha. There are three attractions and the tickets are about $10 for each of them or $28 to see all three. “Out of all three attractions, I personally only found House on the Hill to be very scary,.” Said Junior, Emory T. They are open from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays and stay open until midnight on weekends.

Overall I’d say that Scary Acres is not worth as much hype as it gets. In my opinion, The price of tickets should be about $10 to $15, so if you are paying more than $25 it is too expensive. When you are going to a haunted house just check out ones you’ve never seen before. The anticipation of what might come next is what makes them thrilling.
