“How’s your day?” I asked my friend, sophomore Kyler C.
“Could be better, but could be worse,” Kyler said.
My text in hand, I continued to press the questions.
“What’s your favorite class?” I asked.

“Weights and choir,” came the simple reply.
I followed-up with “Why?”
Kyler said, “Weights, because I like to work out, and it’s quiet. Choir, because I like singing.”
My next question was more introspective, seeking a deeper meaning from him. “What quote could you have here?”
“If you want something then go all out to achieve it.”
I finished with a question about his overall perspective on our school. “What do you like the most about our school?”
Kyler said, “The people are somewhat nice.”
