A new freshman varsity volleyball player has emerged from the junior high and her name is Lorelai. Whether she is killing the competition or acing a test, Lorelai F. is building friendships. These friendships aren’t just for her talents on the court but also for the way she is a positive person and the way she expresses her kindness towards others.

Even with the stress of everything on Lorelai F.’s shoulders, which includes morning practices, late night games, and conditioning, “she comes to practice and games and gives 100 percent,” says Stephanie Booth, the varsity volleyball coach.

Outside of school and practice Lorelai F. is an A student. She manages her time wisely, and works hard towards her goals.

“I look up to Lorelai as a student athlete because she is able to manage everything very well,” explains Lilly H, who is also a Conestoga volleyball player.

Lorelai F. is a positive presence in the lives of her friends, peers, and coaches. She rarely is in a bad mood and most of the time is happy and spreading kindness. The only things she dreads are IXL’s and homework quizzes.

“We are lucky to have someone like Lorelai on our team,” remarked Booth, when interviewed about Lorelai F.

“Dont let mistakes define who you are,” said Lorelai F.
