Last Wednesday, Oct 29, Cougar Hollow celebrated another successful year of its annual Cougar Halloween event. Teachers, students, and families came together for a fun evening filled with games, music, and festive activities that brought everyone together.
The event was organized by teachers and parents. There were activity booths that lined the blacktop offering fun activities to do at each. There were more fun booths around and on the stage that had prizes like festive tattoos, stickers, cookies, candy, and more. Lines formed quickly as students waited their turn to play. People that played won the fun festive prizes offered at the booths making sure everyone left with a treat.
In addition to the booth games, Cougar Hollow provided food stands with a selection of snacks and drinks for families to enjoy while walking around. On the stage there were sounds of laughter while kids played in the bubbles as halloween music echoed throughout the park. There was also a face painting stand for kids to paint their face.
“I thought that Cougar Halloween was a super fun experience for both the kids and the people who got to run the stands. There was some really good food given out, and everybody seemed to have a great time,” stated Freshman Lorelai Fader, “My favorite stand was the one that gave out girl scout cookies. I think the coolest activity there was the bean bag toss”
The event was festive and filled with activities for everyone to enjoy. With another year of Cougar Halloween being a success it provided smiles and joy for kids and parents. This tradition provides a fun experience to the Cougar community.
