Murray, NE – The Conestoga Jr/Sr High OneAct program, performing “The Grand Adventures of Pip and Mimsy”, has come to its season’s end. The program had four competitions this year.

We asked Hannah B, who voices Begeloitz, how she felt about the Conestoga 2023 play.
“Considering we don’t have much to work with, we’ve created a great environment you can get lost in. The play and set is way better than expected, and I have high hopes for next year.”

The program’s set was all hand made by the stage crew and some actors. One of the lead actresses, Piper I, who plays Pip, says how she felt about the 2023 season.
“I would say that this 2023 One Act season was so much fun and so many bonds were built. I feel like I grew as an actress and everyone really succeeded greatly! So much thanks to our wonderful coaches as well.”

As for the programs awards this year, Jessica Schlichtemeier, the head coach of the program, gives us an insight. “I was pleased with the season, constant improvement, always working hard, and it was just a very good season overall. I think doing a comedy was fun and the actors definitely had fun with it too. Dani Ahrens also had four outstanding actresses awards with the four competitions we went to, so all of them! We had a lot of hard competitions this year, but everyone did so well and I’m so proud of them all.”
